Title: Accounting Manager. Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Full Time Compensation Pay Range:$130000-$160000/Yrs Description Join a dynamic corporate accounting team during a transformative phase. Contribute to the modernization of close and reporting processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting accuracy and compliance. Drive improvements in data integrity and system processes. Enhance the overall accounting function and support strategic projects. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting for areas such as debt, interest, inventory, and expenses. Oversee treasury-related accounting and reconciliations. Prepare and review journal entries and support schedules for legal entities. Analyze financial variances and collaborate with FP&A for accurate results. Implement process improvements for a timely and organized close. Ensure effective internal controls and support SOX compliance. Prepare audit-ready documentation and support audit requests. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred. 6-9 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in both public and corporate accounting. Public company experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals. Confident communicator capable of working cross-functionally. Motivated to lead and impact a fast-paced accounting organization.
