A rapidly expanding lifestyle and services company is searching for a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role has been created due to significant growth and new partnerships, and will focus on driving accurate reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting leadership in scaling the business.The position will serve as a critical resource in managing the month-end close, general ledger oversight, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and eager to contribute to process improvements that will strengthen financial operations during a high-growth phase. Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support closing activities while ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Maintain policies and procedures that safeguard company assets.
- Ensure payroll, sales, and tax compliance requirements are met.
- Audit key transactions for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee accounting software and reporting tools, ensuring integrity of data.
- Recommend process improvements and automation to enhance workflows.
- Manage access and permissions to ensure system security.
- Partner with leadership on budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to inform decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA or similar preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with modern accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Compensation: $110,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
