ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines, mechanical shears, rock crushers, homogenizers and other miscellaneous applications. ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.

Today, ECG has four facilities throughout PA. We are currently seeking a non-exempt position of Staff Accountant I at Ellwood Crankshaft & Machine (ECM) in Hermitage, PA and will support all ECG facilities as needed. Overtime work will be mandatory, as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting theory/GAAP

• A strong continuous improvement orientation and desire to grow in skills and career
• Ability to identify job obstacles and use creativity to develop alternative solutions
• Excellent computer skills with ability to use all Microsoft Office products
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level and perform with minimal supervision
• Proven experience in decision making and problem-solving skills
• Periodic regional and/or overnight travel required (
