Job Summary Job Description POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Helper JOB GOAL: To assist in efficiently maintaining facilities and equipment in the System in a safe and attractive condition. REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor SUPERVISES: N/A PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Change filters at all sites in the System

Assist in surplus pickup at all sites in the System.

Demonstrate initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities.

Ensure adherence to good safety standards.

Model and maintain high ethical standards.

Follow attendance, punctuality and proper dress rules.

Meet and deal effectively with the general public, staff members, students, parents, administrators and other contact persons using tact and good judgment.

Participate successfully in the training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency related to assignment.

Maintain a valid drivers' license.

Maintain proper care of tools and materials.

Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

Follow federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies.

Exhibit interpersonal skills to work as an effective team member.

Demonstrate support for the School System and its goals and priorities.

Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.
