Job Requirements Starting Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 yearlyDay Shift In this dynamic position, you'll help shape and enhance Supply Chain processes by contributing to the development of standard operating procedures. You'll also serve as the go-to liaison between the Purchasing Team and the TS IT Applications Integrator, resolving system-related questions and streamlining communication. Additionally, you'll lead Red Rock system training for new Procurement Agents, manage a library of system reports, and help optimize the tools that keep our procurement operations running efficiently and strategically. What Does a Strategic Procurement Administrator do?
  • Assists with driving the development and implementation of supply chain management techniques to enhance supplier performance at the lowest overall cost to the business.
  • Assists with creation of various RFP's and RFQ's across all areas for Turning Stone Enterprises as directed.
  • Coordinates and conducts product reviews during the RFP/RFQ cycle working with various departments to ensure fairness and a non-biased review of products.
  • Negotiates and controls Strategic contracts to provide cost and logistical benefits.
  • Ensures negotiated Strategic contracts are implemented to maximum effect. Ensures compliance with Strategic contracts.
  • Identifies and conducts sourcing initiatives across the Enterprise where applicable.
  • Works with business units to achieve the implementation of the awarded sourcing initiatives.
  • Maintains, achieves and documents appropriate metrics (i.e., cost avoidance, cost savings, etc.).
  • Assists with identifying and implementing improvements to the purchasing administration systems in order to reduce the incidences of fragmented spend and overall transaction cost.
  • Prepares weekly reports on the strategic status and operation of the department.
  • Effectively communicates with external suppliers and internal clients.
  • Ensures all internal customers are afforded prompt, efficient and courteous service at all times.
  • Assists with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Purchasing, Warehouse and Wardrobe departments by storing, creating, reviewing, updating and adding suggestions to SOP's ensuring activities of the department comply fully with all company policies and procedures.
  • Fields and documents Purchasing Department Red Rock Inquiries or requests and sends them to the TS IT Applications Integrator for resolution.
  • Trains new Purchasing Agents on how to generate Red Rock Purchase Orders, do simple Red Rock lookups and run standard Red Rock Reports.
  • Will create, document and maintain a Red Rock Reports Library to assist the Purchasing Team.
  • Ensures established procedures are to be adhered to. Corrects any diversions discreetly and immediately.

Work Experience To be successful at a Strategic Procurement Administrator, you'll need:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant discipline helpful.
  • At least three (3) years' experience in supply chain; preferably in hospitality and/or gaming environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing techniques to provide cost savings while maintaining quality.
  • Excellent business, financial and negotiating skills are required.
  • Possesses strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to analyze data and provide executive summaries and detailed analysis of supplier responses.
  • Above average MS office skills with expert skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Demonstrates highly developed analytical thinking; can apply understanding and application of logical or analytical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of world class sourcing tools and experience implementing them.
  • Has a working knowledge of contract law.
