Salary Grade: T24 Salary Range: $35,600 - $52,000

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Center for Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA) Assistant Dean of Recruiting and Admissions, the Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for managing a range of administrative tasks and outreach focused on student recruitment and admissions for the undergraduate and graduate programs with a primary focus on the Dance Department in the Boyer College of Music and Dance. Coordinates audition days for the Dance Department and other Boyer College programs as needed. Works with music and dance applicants, faculty, and staff to process admissions materials. Represents Music and Dance programs at recruitment events on campus and travel to off campus events when needed. Responds to student prospect and applicant inquiries regarding campus visits, admissions process, program details, financial aid, and student life. Leads Boyer College facilities and campus tours for Music and Dance prospective students. Manages all recruitment initiatives as designated. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and two years' experience in a recruiting/admissions or dance related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

*Excellent people skills, along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse constituent population.

*Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to create promotional or marketing material.

*Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.

*Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed

*Demonstrated strong organizational and multi-tasking skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.

*Ability to work independently under pressure in a high-volume environment.

*Ability to participate in cross functional student service initiatives.

*Ability to travel to recruitment events and conferences, as needed that may not be accessible via public transportation.
