There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.Howyou'llmake an Impact:TheMaterial Handleris responsible forcompleting general warehouse tasks, including scanningproduct, building boxes, and unloading cases.This role typical reports into the Operations Supervisor and is based in our Stockbridge Distribution Center.75%:Daily OperationsUse scanner to inquire/research cases, adjust/create cases and palletize cases.Unload cases from one pallet andstackonto another.Open cases and tape casesclosed.Build boxes andlabelaccording to instructions.Tear down cases/boxes and move to compactor.25%: Support FunctionsPerform other tasks as assigned, including pulling during low volume periods.Support the Coordinator/Supervisor in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution CenterMust have:Basic knowledge of WMOS,including scannertasks and functions.Teamplayerwilling to perform various job duties to support the department and the facilityobjectivesand key performance indicators.Ability toliftto 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others (Supervisors, Managers, and peers).Flexibility to work overtimeandcomply withblackout periods(no vacation or personal time allowed)during peak periods.Preferred skills and experience:Efficiently handle tasksto includematerial handling and stock movement.Six months in adistribution environment preferred.Carters is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
