Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Material Handler/ Forklift Operator to join our client in a fast-paced manufacturing center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to efficiently load and unload materials, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA regulations.Monday-Friday 6: 00AM-6: 00PMPay: $18.00 /hour PAID WEEKLY!TEMP TO HIRE!DutiesEnsures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final ntributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage areDocuments materials and records units delivered and location of units.Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items.Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.Must have 20/20 vision (with correction, if necessary) and no color blindness or inability to judge color hues. Job RequirementsComputer proficiency, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Has a working knowledge of the metric system.Experience with inventory counting and reconciliation.Familiar with warehouse management systems, including RF scanners.Ability to achieve Fork Lift/Clamp Truck certification.Physical ability to move or stack inventory as required.Good writing, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.A sense of urgency and ability to work at a fast pace when required.Ability to multi-task and work independently, in an accurate and efficient manner.Ensure compliance to safety, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.Must be able to work over time.
