About Diversion & Intervention Services We partner with law enforcement and courts to equip officers and court staff with the tools, education, and strategies to respond effectively to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Our work helps prevent unnecessary arrests, court cases, and hospitalizations-empowering both professionals and the people they serve. What You'll Do
- Serve as ReDiscover's main contact with law enforcement, courts, and jails, supporting individuals with behavioral health needs.
- Follow up on referrals with assertive community outreach and link individuals to services and resources.
- Provide consultation, outreach, or co-deployment with law enforcement as needed.
- Deliver CIT, POST-approved, or Roll Call trainings for law enforcement and first responders.
- Participate in CIT Council trainings, meetings, and community events.
- Train and facilitate Civil Involuntary Detention/96-hour holds for the agency and community.
- Build strong relationships with courts, offering consultation, assessment, or staffing support.
- Collaborate with CCBHCs, hospitals, law enforcement, courts, jails, and other systems to break down silos and improve access to behavioral health services.
Requirements of the Position
- Master's degree in a social science field required.
- 2+ years' experience in treatment planning and community behavioral health outreach preferred.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance for work-related travel.
- Knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders, with a focus on recovery-oriented care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in electronic health records, Microsoft Office, and G Suite to manage data and reporting.
- Commitment to helping individuals access behavioral health services and improve community outcomes.
