DescriptionOverall Responsibilities:
  • The Groundskeeper will ensure that the resort grounds are kept looking well-tended and attractive to help make the resort the kind of place Members and guests can't wait to return to.
  • Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
  • Works well with other team members.
  • Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort (HRCR) Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
The Groundskeeper Will:
  • Ensure lawns are manicured appropriately. Regularly treat weeds for weed control, rake leaves, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut down and remove tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.
  • Inspect irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly, repair as needed.
  • Pick up trash/debris from common areas, streets, and flower beds on an as needed basis.
  • Keep sidewalks and roadways free from debris, gum, snow, ice, etc.?
  • Empties common area trash containers as needed.
  • Ensure HRCR grounds are presentable at all times and adhere to HRCR curb appeal standards.
  • Report all maintenance issues and concerns identified while performing daily duties to Supervisor.
  • Arrange flower beds by planting flowers and watering as weather allows.?
  • Recommend improvements to landscaping and implement as approved.?
  • Water all areas not accessible to the automatic sprinkler system.?
  • Operate lawn mowers, tractors, snow equipment, trucks, salt spreaders, power tools, etc.?

The employee is required to follow and perform any other job-related instructions and duties as may be reasonably assigned by his/her supervisor. Requirements Minimum of 18 years of age. Must be a motivated self-starter. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed. Hold a valid state driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
