Overview The Faith in Action - Homemaker will assist home health individuals receiving supportive services in the greater community with performing household activities to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. The Faith in Action - Homemaker completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with the individuals, their families, and/or their caregiver(s) and other health team members is an essential component of this position. Responsibilities
- Performing light housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Planning and preparing meals.
- Participating in supportive activities to promote or maintain the individual's independence in the home setting.
- Maintain household routines.
- Follow a designated work plan.
- Communicate significant changes in the status of the individual and/or family.
- Maintain a record of activities as directed.
- Promote the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
- Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid Driver's License
- Acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements
