Job DescriptionPackaging Team Lead Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Packaging Team Lead for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Packaging Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of pharmaceutical packaging lines within a cGMP-regulated facility. Acting as the right hand to the supervisor, the Team Lead provides hands-on leadership to operators, ensures adherence to SOPs and quality standards, and helps drive productivity and safety on the floor. This role is a key link between operators and supervision, ensuring effective communication, teamwork, and operational execution. Pay Rate $22.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience Schedule and Hours 5:00AM-5:30PM, Friday-Monday Packaging Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities • Assist the Packaging Supervisor in managing daily packaging line activities • Serve as a first point of contact for operations, escalating issues to the Supervisor as needed • Ensure smooth shift handovers and proper communication between teams • Lead by example in maintaining compliance with cGMP, GDP, and site safety standards • Verify line clearances, component counts, and proper documentation throughout processing runs • Support execution of production schedules and help ensure packaging lines meet daily targets • Monitor line performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and communicate equipment and quality concerns • Reinforce proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times Packaging Team Lead Qualifications and Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred • 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated packaging/manufacturing environment • Prior leadership experience (lead operator, team lead or trainer role) • Working knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and EHS requirements • Ability to read and follow batch production records and SOPs accurately. • Hands-on problem-solving ability and willingness to step in and support line operations Job Type Full-time, Direct Hire Benefits • Weekly Pay • Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance • 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours • 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401K matching to all eligiblecontingent and temporary associates.
