Pharmacy Technician I

The posted compensation range of $13.44 - $18.48 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties of a pharmacy technician in accordance with established policies and procedures related to the preparation and distribution of medication
• Perform duties required to restock medication dispensing cabinets and fill first doses
• Perform duties required in processing medications at patient discharge and transfer
• Review anesthesiology records and extract pharmacy charges; reconcile controlled substances with anesthesia department
• Answer phone and determine order status; triage calls for appropriate resolution
• Maintain all records and documents in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Texas Pharmacy Tech License
