About the job Telemetry Technician Job descriptionDuties:- Perform diagnostic evaluations using telemetry equipment to monitor and record patients' heart activity- Operate sonography equipment to capture images of the heart and blood vessels- Utilize knowledge of physiology to interpret telemetry data and identify abnormalities or irregularities- Maintain accurate records of patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing patients, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring aseptic technique is followed- Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with healthcare professionalsQualifications:- Previous experience as a Telemetry Technician or in a related field is preferred- Knowledge of cardiac physiology and the ability to interpret telemetry data accurately- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions when necessary
