NPC is hiring a full-time Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our collaborative, hard-working HR team! This role provides dependable support across a variety of HR areas, including employee leave administration, event coordination, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, and more. As our Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you'll provide essential support to the HR Team by coordinating employee leave programs (FMLA, Short- and Long-Term Disability), assisting with workplace injury documentation, supporting employee onboarding, and helping with security clearance processes. You'll also play a hands-on role in employee communications, HR events, and special projects that help create a positive employee experience. Whether it's ordering supplies, coordinating gifts and recognition, updating employee records, or managing the HR Help Desk inbox, your contributions will help our team run smoothly and support our growing workforce. You'll serve as a key point of contact within the HR Department - so flexibility, confidentiality, and a team mindset are vital. JOB REQUIREMENTS The general requirements to be considered for the Human Resources Administrative Assistant opportunity are:

  • Associate's or equivalent two-year degree is preferred.
  • 2 years of related administrative experience and/or training.
  • Previous Human Resources experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Effective communication.
  • Ability to multi-task and be organized.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing and/or conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to perform to a flexible work schedule meeting the needs of a 24/7 workforce.
