In this role, you will conduct sleep studies, monitor patients overnight, and provide high-quality data for diagnosing sleep-related disorders. You ll be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient comfort, safety, and accurate testing protocols.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and monitor patients for overnight sleep studies using standard polysomnographic procedures
Apply electrodes and monitoring devices in accordance with AASM and facility protocols
Observe, document, and respond to sleep-related events such as apneas, hypopneas, and oxygen desaturations
Titrate CPAP/BiPAP equipment as needed to ensure therapeutic benefit
Score sleep studies and assist in generating reports for physician interpretation
Educate patients about procedures and answer questions related to their sleep testing
Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning properly
