Salary: $150,000 - $190,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CFO to join our growing team in the Non-Profit Industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strategic decision-making and operations related to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, securing new funding, and financial reporting.

You will be responsible for managing all financial actions of the organization, establishing credibility, and becoming a trusted business partner with the senior leadership team. If you're a seasoned financial leader with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, we'd like to meet you.

Job Details:

The CFO reports to the President and CEO and works closely with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to align financial strategy with the organizations mission and goals. The CFO oversees a team and manages all aspects of accounting, finance, budgeting, and contracts. The role involves collaboration on financial planning, supporting program leadership, and maintaining relationships with funding agencies and vendors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred; minimum 5 years in a relevant senior leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance, with proven ability to manage complex organizational accounting, finance, and administrative functions
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, with a track record of setting priorities, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and sound decision-making
  • Deep understanding of nonprofit financial management, including government contracts, grants, and third-party billing
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Technologically savvy, with experience overseeing technology staff and leveraging technology for efficiency
