Established manufacturer of precast and prefabricated concrete products is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join its engineering team. This role is central to designing and analyzing structural systems for infrastructure, utility, and building applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review precast concrete structures (manholes, vaults, culverts, bridges, etc.)
- Prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications aligned with codes and project needs
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors for integrated solutions
- Perform structural analysis using AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, RISA, SAP2000, or STAAD
- Support manufacturing, sales, and field teams throughout project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with DOT, ASTM, ACI, and other relevant standards
- Conduct site visits and quality assurance inspections
- Contribute to value engineering initiatives
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- PE license or FE/EIT with path to PE
- 3–7 years of experience in civil or structural engineering (concrete/precast preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ACI, ASCE, AASHTO, and local codes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software
