The Home Health (HH) Scheduler is responsible for the electronic scheduling of all clinical disciplines of the Visiting Nurse Association of Utica and Oneida County, Inc. (VNA). Schedules home health nursing, rehabilitation therapy, nutrition, social work, respiratory therapy and related services which are provided in a patients home. Core Job Responsibilities Schedules Home Health visit requests after the approval of clinical managers. Handles scheduling and staffing for Home Health services, including holidays and weekends. Keeps supervisor and HH staff updated on all scheduling changes. Responsible for keeping schedules accurate and up to date. Communicates schedule changes and updates with clinicians. Communicates with patients regarding the schedule for HH services. Creates necessary reports to support daily HH scheduling process.
