Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Water Resources, or a related field. 2 years of experience in water quality monitoring, environmental research, or similar. Knowledge of water sampling protocols, QAPPs, and SWQM standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly explain technical information to diverse audiences and interact professionally via phone, email, and in personincluding with individuals who have limited social skills. Experience conducting research to gather accurate protocol, data, or policy information. Willingness to travel (up to 20%) and work outdoors in variable conditions during normal work hours and weekends as necessary. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in a related field. 3 years of experience in watershed management, environmental outreach, SWQM or community-based monitoring.
