: Job Details :

Receives and directs patients, visitors and hospital personnel arriving on or calling the patient care unit. Receives requests from patients and families and refers requests to the nurse or appropriate hospital personnel. Provides information regarding patient location. Records and delivers messages for patients and staff. Receives and distributes mail and various other items for patients and staff on the unit. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse, and other unit staff, orders and maintains the appropriate quantity of forms, materials, supplies, and equipment, par levels on assigned unit. Enters requests for work orders, computer issues etc. into the computer system. Accurately enters and updates patient data in the computer system in a timely manner. Performs 1:1's and enhanced supervisions. Answers call bells and phones, hand washing observations.
