Assistant Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

As an Assistant Supervisor you will provide leadership and direction for hourly work groups within the plant. You will assist the Production Manager with performance tracking in respect to safety & the environment, quality, on-time delivery, and cost for the respective areas. In addition, you are the first line contact between production employees and the management staff. In this role you will: Conduct and support daily team start-up meetings with all department personnel in areas of responsibility. Represent the company when interacting with production employees on the shop floor. Help drive and implement safety policies and programs, meet operating budgets, complete continuous improvement plans, and coach employees on behavior/performance. Monitor control plans, troubleshoot workmanship problems, and supervise production activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed established quality requirements.
