About the Family A warm and welcoming private family located in Syosset, NY is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Child Friendly Live-In Housekeeper to support the daily operations of their historic home. They value discretion, consistency, and someone who will take pride in their role and stay long-term. Children: Two children, ages 4 and 5 (in school full time), baby on the way Home Size: Large historic home (many rooms not in daily use) Pets: One friendly Yellow Labrador Household Staff: Deep cleaners come every two weeks
Responsibilities - Assist mom in the morning with getting kids ready and out the door at 7:30am
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks: laundry, tidying bedrooms and bathrooms, and light organizing
- Put away groceries, deliveries, and packages
- Run local errands (grocery store, return packages, etc.)
- Maintain clean and tidy living spaces using family-preferred cleaning products
- Care for the family dog: feeding and letting out as needed
- Support packing and organizing for family travel
- Assist parents with children's evening/bedtime routine as needed
- Resume support in the afternoon (3-7pm): tidying, laundry, help with kids or household tasks
- Respect and follow specific household routines and systems

Requirements - Prior experience in a similar role in a private household
