A day in the life of an Assistant Nurse Manager at Hackensack Meridian Health includes: Participate with recruitment and retention strategies. Assist with unit huddles and leader rounding with employees. Participates with unit goal creation which are reflective of the hospital goals as well as the mission and vision of Hackensack Meridian Health. Participate or lead when appropriate: evidenced-based practice projects or research. Participate or lead when appropriate: unit-based or hospital based shared governance committees or councils. Resolve conflicts and facilitates constructive resolutions and positive outcomes if possible. Complete employee corrective action plans/counseling as necessary. Adhere to HMH's Organizational and Managerial competencies and standards of behavior. Prepare and conduct periodic performance evaluations to assigned staff members.
