JOB SUMMARY: Receives, selects, stores, and loads products and/or materials. Safely operates all material handling equipment. Accurately completes all associated paperwork. Maintains clean work area consistent with company standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Inspects incoming and outgoing product.Reads labels and associated documents printed in English.Counts and calculates using basic math skills.Lifts, carries and stacks product up to 75 pounds at a height of up to 7 feet.Maintains high focus in an environment of many obstacles and distractions.Uses push/pull motions in building pallets up to 8 feet high.Operates electric forklift and electric, stand-up rider pallet jack.Maintains productivity and accuracy according to engineered work standards.Cleans work area using a mop, broom, or electric sweeper vac.Due to the nature of our 24-hour business, work schedules vary.Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES
- Productivity standard of 95% must be met within the first 120 days of employment as measured by the engineered work standards system.
- Job knowledge – Basic understanding of the requirements of each type of assignment, correct operation of equipment and functions/processes related to job, and good overall understanding of GSF.
