Design visuals for Vox across a variety of formats and platforms, including videos, podcasts, social channels, text, and newsletters. Create original assets for video and video podcasts. Manage art deliverables from freelancers for video production. Collaborate closely with editorial leadership, Voxs other art director, and video producers. Provide art direction and graphic supervision for video packages for visual clarity and adhering to the Vox style guide. Mentor video producers to develop their own visual style within the Vox universe. Manage the progress of design and animation skills around the video team. Own & iterate on Vox video style guides in the form of tools, templates, and rules. Provide clear and constructive notes when delivering feedback across formats to newsroom colleagues. Adhere to all journalistic and legal standards at all times. Complete additional duties as assigned.
