JOB SUMMARYThe Straight Truck Driver will transport material to and from Goodwill locations using straight trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Transport loads to and from designated locations in a timely fashion
- Load and unload trucks at assigned locations
- Ensure trucks are kept clean and safe at all times
- Maintain records, logs and inspection reports
- Drive with courtesy to others and positively represent Goodwill to the public
- Safely and efficiently operate Forklift as required
- Responsible for supervising Dock Workers when they accompany driver on route
- Comply with all Department of Transportation guidelines and Goodwill policies & procedures
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience driving straight truck required
- Driver's License required
- Must be insurable
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Must have knowledge of metropolitan area streets and locations.
- Maintain a good driving record that meets our Insurance Company's Guidelines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS HeavyLifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
