Responsible for patient menus and diets Responsible for coordination of patient menus, diets, and nourishments for each meal. Reviews menus and exercises extreme caution to ensure that the current diet matches the current order. Refers problems and questions to Clinical Dietitian. Prints menus in the morning to be distributed by floor host to patients to complete at breakfast. Prints tallies for each meal 24.65 and distributes to appropriate staff. Answers telephone, places room service requests in CBORD and expedites patient requests. Communicates with food production manager, cooks, supervisors, and diet aides regarding changes, patient requests, etc. Demonstrates ability to modify menus, meal plans and diets to meet the needs of age specific groups: pediatric, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Maintains CBORD computer system information. Maintains and updates patient information in CBORD computer system.
