Job Summary:The Lean Site Facilitator is part of a site team of internal resources who will champion and support the adoption of sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable process improvements. These improvements will enhance patient care, quality and safety as well as key business systems, by deploying a process improvement strategy utilizing Lean concepts. This individual supports the tactical implementation of a Lean roadmap as developed by the site executive leadership team, as well as for deploying the WellStar Lean Strategy. The role will support Executive Sponsors, Process Owners, physician and administrative leaders, and front-line staff. The role will facilitate improvement projects that deliver sustained and measurable results, and challenge status quo thinking and resolve conflicts within teams to ensure forward progress while breaking down barriers. This position will report directly to the Director, Lean Site Consultant/AVP Operations & Transformational Ex.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Bachelor's Degree
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Lean Certification within 1 Year Required and Six-Sigma and PMP Preferred
Required Minimum Experience:Minimum three (3) years of experience in a dedicated continuous improvement role utilizing Lean methodology. Required and Five (5) or more years of experience within a healthcare environment Preferred and Proven experience consulting and influencing change at the executive level Required and Experience leading complex, multi-site Lean initiatives in healthcare organization(s). Required and Experience in a strong model of coaching and mentoring others in the concepts and tools of Lean. Required and Project Management/Consulting experience in an inpatient hospital environment Preferred

Proven success in partnering with operational leaders to accumulate, analyze, and concisely present data. Formulate actionable plans that are prioritized most closely around key issues and that align with strategic initiatives. Well organized, disciplined and persistent. Driven to overcome complex barriers to achieve objectives. Creative problem-solving, and the initiative to lead and effectively manage change. Well versed in MS 365 Products and project management software.
