Substitute Teacher Coordinator to manage our pool of substitute teachers and ensure high-quality classroomcoverage. Reports To: Assistant SuperintendentKey Responsibilities:1. Managing Substitute Teacher Pool Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new substitute teachers. 2. Communication and Support Maintain regular communication with substitute teachers, school staff, and administrators regarding schedules, assignments, and classroom needs. 3. Administrative Tasks Track substitute teacher hours, maintain absence records, and prepare related reports. 4. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Address issues related to substitute coverage, classroom management, or other challenges during assignments. 5. Maintaining Records Keep accurate documentation of substitute assignments, hours worked, and related information. 6. Training and Orientation Provide orientation and training to substitutes on school procedures, classroom management, and relevant systems. 7. Building Positive Relationships Foster professional, supportive relationships with substitutes, school staff, and administrators. Qualifications: Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in education preferred. Ability to work in fast-paced and time-sensitive situations.
