The WIC Intake Specialist supports the mission, goals and objectives of Community Health Center of the North Country by providing staff support to the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program. This employee determines program eligibility for potential participants. Assists nutrition staff with collecting height, weight, and hemoglobin data on infants, children, and women. The WIC Intake Specialist also assists with clerical duties, outreach and WIC core services. RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for visitors and staff.a. Demonstrates an understanding of and adheres to all safety and infection control policies and proceduresb. Completes annual mandates and health assessments.c.
