Under the direct supervision of the Fleet Supervisor, the job duties of the Inventory Control Specialist include but are not limited to, procurement and the following documentation of parts, materials, fuels, lubricants, and consumables for departmental operations. Provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to supervisors, coworkers, County residents and the general public. Duties and Responsiblities These duties represent the typical duties and responsibilities assigned to this position but may not be inclusive of all tasks performed. Responsible for receiving, storing, maintaining, and dispensing of parts, materials, and supplies. Utilizes various computer software, and programs for the purpose of inventory documentation. Maintain work area in a safe and clean manner. Follows regulations in regards to chemical storage and safety data sheet compliance. Performs inventory checks, daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
