Description

The primary duty of a document review attorney is to evaluate documents for other lawyers, reviewing and analyzing data to determine whether the records are relevant to a particular case. As a document review attorney, your responsibilities include highlighting and finding pertinent information that may need to be processed for use in court.

Position Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

  • View a high volume of litigation documents with high productivity and accuracy
  • Review documents for relevance and privilege for ongoing litigation
  • Identify key information and effectively communicate findings to the associates

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate
  • Be a member of and in good standing withbeing barred in the states we serve:AL, CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, ME, MA, MD, MI, MN, NH, NC, NJ, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VT, VA and WV. Preference for NC or SC licensed attorney.
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance
  • Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking

Note:This role requires occasional in-office presence and may involve court appearances to support the North Carolina/South Carolina Foreclosure Groups and the RPM Group.
