Title: Demand Planner

Salary: $75-85K

Location: Park Ridge, NJ

Schedule: 5x a week in office

Company Profile: A leading food/CPG organization is looking to add a Demand Planner to their team. This person must be organized and responsible, with strong critical thinking skills and interpersonal skills. This position requires someone with existing knowledge of Supply Chain processes with mathematical/statistical insights. This candidate will be responsible for analyzing demand patterns and business trends, with consideration of external factors.

The Demand Planner will Be Responsible For the Following:

• Prepare, analyze, and validate various sets of forecast data to improve forecast accuracy
• Propose and implement solutions to improve existing processes and practices
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, demand, inventory, and business strategies
• Conduct monthly forecast meetings with the sales team to review promotions, item launches, and changes to current business
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives

The Demand Planner Should Have the Following Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the CPG industry
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Understanding of supply chain process and practices with an understanding of key organizational stakeholders
