**Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections • Day Shift**Join our team as an LVN in a correctional facility in Beaumont, Texas, providing vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.**Responsibilities: **• Provide nursing care and administer medications.• Monitor and report patient health changes.• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with healthcare professionals.• Float to units within a 10•30 minute radius as needed.**Qualifications:**• Valid LVN license in Texas or a compact state.• 2+ years of nursing experience, including 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.• BLS and IV Therapy Certification.• Ability to work independently in a fast•paced setting.• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.**Schedule: **• Day shifts: 5:45 AM • 6:15 PM• Weekend work and unit floating required.**Additional Information: **• COVID•19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted.• Orientation provided post•clearance.• Potential for continuous employment and extensions.Ideal for a resilient nurse eager to impact correctional healthcare.
