Rise Life Services, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation located in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the agency in providing the highest quality of services to adults with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. Areas of Responsibility:

The CEO is responsible for managing an annual budget of $26 million and overseeing 32 residential homes, six day programs, a community food pantry, a teen suicide prevention program, and a mental health clinic.

Appointed by and accountable to the Board of Directors, the CEO serves as the primary administrator of the agency, ensuring all programs operate in accordance with state and federal regulations, agency policies, mission, and standards.

Educational Background:

Master's degree in healthcare, human services, business management, education, or a related field.

Skills/Experience:

The candidate must be knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations affecting agency policy and operations and familiar with requirements, policies, and procedures related to the New York State Office of People With Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health.

Essential skills include budget preparation, financial management, human resource principles, and familiarity with federal and state laws impacting the organization. Experience with grantsmanship and fundraising is also desirable. The ability to lead, establish, and maintain effective relationships through strong interpersonal and communication skills is crucial.

Salary Range: $195,000 - $225,000.
