AVP & Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an AVP & Portfolio Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position located at 19620 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino, CA 95014.

Job Duties:

  • Monitor and maintain the overall loan portfolio processes, procedures, and practices to support the Team Leader, covering credit risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, price risk, transaction risk, foreign exchange risk, compliance risks, strategic risk, and reputation risk.
  • Review, analyze, and consolidate market, industry, and risk data to develop Commercial & Industrial loan portfolios within the expertise industry and segment.
  • Assess and review loan portfolios, measurement indexes, and provide input for the industry and segment.
  • Collaborate with origination and product specialists to review credit strategies and develop proactive plans for all assigned portfolios.
  • Analyze and evaluate risks, conduct risk selection, oversee individual loan risks, and control loan approval quality.
  • Assess and mitigate risks on complex Commercial & Industrial loan applications to increase revenue, following operational procedures and identifying suspicious activities.
  • Review loan packages, analyze creditworthiness, and measure credit risks, stress tests, and collateral analysis.
  • Analyze financial conditions of applicants to ensure appropriate line limits and usage.
  • Maintain good asset quality within the portfolio, analyze loan performance, and oversee loan operations.
  • Drive loan terminations, ensure compliance, and facilitate understanding among internal/external parties.
  • Lead remedial credit management and structured transaction analyses.
  • Participate in industry associations and networking events to market loan products and solutions.
  • Identify watchlist or problematic credits and take appropriate actions, including seeking assistance for deteriorating credits.
  • Assist the Team Leader in coaching junior officers on risk identification and management.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience as a portfolio manager, relationship manager, or related occupation.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $113,200.00 to $119,000.00 per year.
