The Systems Manager is responsible for delivering scalable and cost-effective IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure system performance aligned with business needs. This role involves managing a team of engineers and administrators, overseeing disaster recovery planning, system availability, and proactive process improvements to manage outages and costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, design, and implementation of standardized server, storage, and virtualized infrastructure.
- Ensure continuous operation and high availability across Intel hardware, storage, Windows, Linux, virtualization, AD, and Citrix environments.
- Drive disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
- Promote innovation and efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external resources for infrastructure projects.
- Perform capacity management and scalability analysis.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Manage multiple priorities and resources simultaneously.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and development for team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience leading system engineers and administrators in enterprise environments (preferred).
- Strong understanding of data center computing, virtualization, storage, networking, and compliance frameworks.
- Microsoft, NetApp, VMware certifications (preferred).
