About the Opportunity
We're seeking an Application Engineer to join a rapidly growing leader in advanced manufacturing solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with customers, and seeing their designs come to life on production floors worldwide. You'll have the chance to blend engineering design, hands-on installation, and customer collaboration while working with cutting-edge tools that improve efficiency and quality.
What You'll Do
- Partner with sales, engineering, and customers to design innovative manufacturing systems.
- Develop scopes of work, bills of materials, and concept drawings.
- Specify hardware such as sensors, actuators, projectors, robotics, smart tools, and vision systems.
- Integrate solutions with manufacturing software platforms (MES, ERP, CAD, etc.).
- Design mechanical elements, including fixtures, workstations, and custom tooling.
- Provide on-site support for assembly, installation, training, and troubleshooting (domestic & international).
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, ergonomics, and other best practices in manufacturing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (data center/electronics manufacturing a plus).
- Experience in customer-facing technical work.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- CAD experience.
- Willingness to travel 20–25% (domestic & international).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $75,000–$85,000 (flexible for highly experienced candidates).
- 5% annual discretionary bonus.
