The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating of activities of the designated projects to ensure the goals and/or objectivesof the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: OnsiteWhat you will do:* Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications* Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project* Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary* Consult with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority* Coordinate project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permitting* Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, project analysis through required project documentation such as AIA.* Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews* Prepare project reports for management, client, or others* Maintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion* Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction* Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.* Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.* Responsible for the successful completion of the project.* Assist Coordinator team in obtaining required sub-contract agreements or project documents required for file.What's in it for you:* Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more!* The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth.* The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best.Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience* 4 - 6 years project management experience* 3 years' experience in commercial HVAC project managementBenefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements* Multiple Medical insurance plan options + Dental and Vision insurance* 401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% an employee contributes and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions* Company provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage* Short term and long term disability* 120 hours (3 weeks) Paid Time Off for new employees + 11 company paid holidays* 40 hours paid sick time* Paid Parental Leave and Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,900 - $174,400 plus up to a 10% bonus in New York.
