Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate assembly/or molding machine and auxiliary equipmentInspect assembled or molded parts/assemblies as processed per work instructionsFollow all safety guidelines and proceduresTrouble-shoot and repair minor machine problemsRestart machine after repair or notify Automation Technician if repair is unsuccessfulPackage parts per work instructionsResponsible for notifying Line Leads, Quality Inspector, Automation Technician and/or Supervisor of any and all defects detectedResponsible to maintain assigned workstation in an organized and clean mannerMust remain at workstation unless on break/lunch or authorized by the correct chain of commandMust complete daily and accurate production report recording scrap and produced partsRemove any old labels from gaylords, boxes, and labelsOther duties may be assignedMATERIAL TOOLS: hand tools: trim knives, plastic cutters, steel wool, soft or mesh gloves. Assembly and accessory equipment attached to the performance of a specific part such as cooling fixture, heat gun, and grinders. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1-year previous work experience requiredOperator in Manufacturing environment experience preferredExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to perform duties independently or in a team environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work flexible schedule, including shift, overtime and weekendsCOMPETENCIES Ability to thoroughly review small aspects of tasks, ensuring accuracy, quality, and completeness in workMust be dependable, have good attendance, be punctual, and have a positive attitudeAbility to ask and answer the right questions at the right timeTime Management and Communication SkillsAbility to maximize the relationships and abilities of those on the teamDetermined and persistent in pursuing goals despite difficulties or delay in achieving successPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
