The Department of Health Information Management at the University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a part-time, Clerk III at the Medical Center Downtown, Iowa City, Iowa. This position will be responsible for medical record activities with primary duties to include scanning and/or importing of clinical documents into the electronic medical record (EMR), analysis of medical record documentation completion, assist with resolution of data integrity problems with the EMR and assist with birth certificate processing. This position supports the Medical Center Downtown facility, patients, and families related to all medical record activities. This position location is Iowa City, IA and requires on-site presence. Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history and will be subject to a criminal background check.
