Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) has an immediate opening for a Technical Support Analyst located at Cooper Nuclear Station in Brownville, Nebraska. Position closes September 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. This position will report to the Administrative Services Superintendent.
Incumbent conducts broad-based regulatory-driven functions such as tracking and processing station procedure changes and maintenance of the source procedure files. Customer service skills required for assisting site workers with navigation of the procedure change process and retrieval of historical procedure change data. Meets Fitness for Duty requirements. Subject to call or carrying a beeper and supporting the Emergency Response Organization (ERO). Incumbent is accountable for miscellaneous other responsibilities as assigned or required.
Education, Training and Experience: Four year degree or two year degree with a minimum of two years' relevant experience (or) high school degree/GED with a minimum of four years' relevant experience. Nuclear experience preferred. Relevant experience is defined as clerical or administrative assistant experience with emphasis on use of MS Word templates, styles, macros, and track changes (strongly preferred).

Salary Information: Nebraska Public Power District offers a competitive starting salary with opportunities for growth. In addition to the base salary range listed below, NPPD employees may also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program (AIP) that may supplement total compensation at a level above and beyond the stated salary range. Successful applicants will be provided more information regarding the incentive program at the time of an interview.

After the first six months of employment, the 401(k) plan includes a generous matching contribution from NPPD. The five-year vesting period begins on an employee's hire date.
