Industrial Site Relocation Project Manager
Description:
Key contract (9-12mos) role for relocation of industrial manufacturing equipment from California to North Carolina. Motivated and communicative self-starter with good follow up skills and excellent negotiation experience. Must be able to consistently update senior management team as to progress, while maintaining communication with all vendors and suppliers involved as well.
Schedule:
Hybrid (3 days on site / 2 days remote). Increase of on-site time required at end of project.
Responsibilities:
- Create floorplan layout for equipment to be relocated
- Determine facilities requirements for relocated equipment
- Solicit quotes for facilities installations
- Solicit quotes for equipment removal, transportation, and installation
- Create & manage equipment removal, transportation, and installation schedules with contracted vendors
- Provide capital/expense forecasts based on quotes
- Some travel to California
