In this capacity, the Associate Director, Business Development will:
* Work with practice group leaders, partners, MD and Corporate Business Development Director to develop, implement and execute strategic business development and marketing initiatives/activities for the Mergers & Acquisitions practice;
* Support the Mergers & Acquisitions practice's key client efforts and work with stakeholders on the development and execution of meaningful strategic business development and marketing initiatives;
* Identify cross-selling opportunities and work on firm-wide collaboration initiatives;
* Draft and prepare tailored proposals, pitch materials, and strategic communications for the Mergers & Acquisitions practice;
* Drive content-led marketing efforts to support new business generation;
* Guide and support key client targeting initiatives within the Mergers & Acquisitions practice, working closely with partners and competitive intelligence team;
* Monitor legal industry trends and competitive intelligence to identify market opportunities and inform strategy;
* Support client relationship development efforts by promoting best practices and developing high-value services for key clients;
* Plan and execute seminars, events and other targeted marketing initiatives to elevate practice visibility and engagement;
* Oversee and manage business development budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals; and
* Travel as needed to support practice initiatives and participate in client development activities.
