Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Global Procurement to lead our sourcing and procurement operations. This role is pivotal in driving cost efficiencies, supplier excellence, and operational scalability through robust procurement strategies and ERP systems, including SAP.

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute a procurement strategy for North America supporting the Americas in collaboration with global teams aligned with business growth and operational goals.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize sourcing, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support expansion, innovation, and sustainability goals.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management.
• Implement and optimize ERP systems (SAP preferred) to enhance procurement visibility and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements specific to the nutraceutical industry.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance to align procurement strategies with business goals
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality and compliance
• Support sustainability and innovation initiatives through strategic sourcing

Team Management

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking.

Supplier & Cost Management

• Develop strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.
• Monitor market trends and risks to proactively adjust sourcing strategies.
• Oversea procurement activities across direct materials (all raw materials critical to production) and Indirect (CAPEX, MRO supplies, third party and general materials)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing or nutraceuticals.
• Proven success in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier management.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, SAP preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Work Environment:

• May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame.
• Ability to work on site up to 5 days a week.
