A dominating roofing company is seeking a seasoned Commercial Roofing Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex roofing projects from pre-construction to closeout. You'll serve as the key liaison between clients, general contractors, field crews, and internal stakeholders. - Manage 5+ concurrent commercial roofing projects, primarily K-12 schools, hospitals, and government facilities
- Coordinate with GCs, superintendents, and owners' reps to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee submittals, scheduling, and procurement processes
- Collaborate with estimators and internal teams to monitor project budgets and timelines
- Prepare and submit monthly pay applications and schedules of values
- Conduct weekly jobsite visits and facilitate project meetings
- Track job progress and provide detailed updates to clients and stakeholders
- Maintain quality control and safety compliance throughout each project
- Resolve on-site challenges and client escalations professionally
Commercial Roofing Project Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial roofing
- Direct experience on complex institutional/commercial projects
- Proven ability to manage submittals and work alongside large GCs
- Familiarity with roofing systems
- Strong knowledge of project billing, schedules of values, and construction documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Bluebeam and PlanSwift preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must pass a background check
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills
- Comfortable working under pressure in demanding commercial construction environments
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
