If you're ready to be part of the magic behind the screams, we want you on our team! Job Summary Be part of the creative team behind one of the region's most immersive seasonal events! We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Production Technician to support the technical excellence of this spectacular event. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and service audio playback equipment deployed throughout the event. • Operate, maintain, and service fog and other effects machines to ensure consistent show quality. • Conduct nightly pre-show checks and post-show maintenance. • Respond swiftly and effectively to technical issues during live operations. • Document technical issues, resolutions, and inventory status. • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless nightly operations. Qualifications Requirements • Must be 18 and over to apply for this position and have reliable transportation. • Familiarity with lighting, video, and audio systems for live events or installations. • Basic knowledge of AC/DC electrical safety, low-voltage wiring, and pneumatics systems. • Experience with commonly used prop controllers (e.g., Fright Ideas, Gilderfluke). • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Willingness to work nights and weekends throughout the event. • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience operating fog, haze, or snow effects machines. • Background in technical theater, theme parks, or live event production. • Experience with welding and metal fabrication. Schedule Full-time seasonal, typically 40+ hours/week. Night and weekend shifts required during show run.
