JOB SUMMARY
A mission-driven nonprofit organization serving rural communities in the Columbia River Gorge region is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support its financial operations. This organization focuses on housing stability, utility assistance, and weatherization services to help vulnerable individuals and families achieve long-term well-being.
The Services Assessment and Prioritization Coordinator leads client intake, eligibility screening, and service prioritization across housing and support programs. This role ensures fair access, manages the regional priority list, and facilitates case conferencing, requiring strong organizational skills and expertise in homeless services systems.
REQUIREMENTS
*Minimum 2 years' experience working in homeless or social service programs
*Must lift up to 25lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
*High School Diploma or equivalent.
PREFERENCES
*Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Data Science, or related field.
JOB DUTIES
*Conduct intake, eligibility screenings, and Coordinated Entry assessments for individuals seeking housing and support services, ensuring timely placement on the priority list.
*Provide diversion support, resource referrals, and front desk coverage while assisting with client communication and scheduling.
*Support Spanish-speaking clients through translation and appointment assistance.
*Facilitate regular case conferencing and collaborate with internal staff and external partners to ensure effective service coordination and referral follow-through.
*Manage digital referral platforms, lead community-facing initiatives and trainings, and contribute to hiring and onboarding processes.
*Maintain accurate data entry, support workflow documentation, and assist with data quality and reporting efforts.
