Job Description :

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in all business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees. Collaborates with leaders in the business to create and implement new strategies, training programs, development initiatives, and other organizational improvements.

The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the company's financial position, its plans, culture, and competition.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and needs, translating them into HR strategies.
  • Provide HR expertise and advice on compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Assist with employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform data-driven solutions and improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and ensure a smooth transition for employees.
  • Develop and implement talent development programs, including training initiatives to support organizational improvement.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructurings, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and coaching needs.
  • Works to prevent or minimize company exposure to lawsuits.
  • Works on ad hoc projects as requested or assigned.
  • Provide HR related assistance to international subsidiaries.
  • Determine and predict future staffing needs based on growth projections, turnover, and other factors.
  • Lead hiring process for key roles, partnering with hiring manager to build and staff the role.
  • Backs up the responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager for coverage needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in HR or related field
  • Strong organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience at a manufacturing company is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
